male peacocks use their tail feathers to entice female peacocks (or rather, peahens)
and usually the one with the most extravagant, gets the girl.

their tail train is entirely for courting purposes.

on a side note

i have 12 days to come up with the greatest bucket list ever.

it's crazy because i couldn't imagine me being 18 when i was young.
